Educationals

The Employer reserves the right to treat 'educationals', that is periods of leave for the purpose of education, for example to [pursue a course of study/study for examinations/carry out research in a particular field/complete a paper] as part of an employee's annual holiday entitlement. Any employee wishing to take time off work for educational purposes should ascertain the position in this respect with his/her [manager/department head] before making any commitments that are dependent on time off work.
