Affordable Care Act Automatic Enrollment Requirement Repealed: Various Documents Updated

On November 2, President Obama signed the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, which completely repealed the automatic enrollment provision of the Affordable Care Act. This provision would have required an employer with more than 200 employees to automatically enroll new employees in its health care plan. Implementation of the provision had been delayed pending the release of final regulations.
