California Content Updated to Reflect New Protections for Members of the Military and Veterans

The following California Employment Law Manual sections have been updated to include an amendment to California's Fair Employment and Housing Act prohibiting discrimination against employees and applicants due to their military or veteran status:
- EEO - Discrimination;
- EEO - Retaliation;
- EEO - Harassment;
- EEO - Affirmative Action;
- USERRA;
- Performance Appraisals;
- Terms of Employment; and
- Recruiting.
The law is effective January 1, 2014.
