California to Protect Interns and Volunteers From Discrimination and Harassment: Employment Law Manual Updated

A new law that takes effect January 1, 2015, will extend protection from harassment and discrimination to unpaid interns and volunteers.

In light of this development, the California EEO - Discrimination, EEO- Harassment, EEO-Retaliation, Disabilities (ADA), Terms of Employment and Performance Appraisals sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated.
