Colorado Content Updated to Include Additional Discrimination Remedies

The Colorado EEO - Discrimination section has been updated to include a new law that expands the damages that an employee may recover in discrimination lawsuits against employers with 14 or fewer employees. 2013 Bill Text CO H.B. 1136. The law provides the following additional remedies: compensatory damages, punitive damages and attorney fees. They apply to claims alleging discriminatory or unfair employment practices that begin on or after January 1, 2015.
