Colorado Minimum Wage Will Rise to $8.31 for 2016: Chart, Employment Law Manual Updated

Effective January 1, 2016, the minimum wage in Colorado will increase by 8 cents, from $8.23 per hour to $8.31 per hour.
The minimum direct wage for tipped employees also will rise 8 cents, from $5.21 to $5.29 per hour.
Colorado adjusts its minimum wage each year based on the rate of inflation.
As a result of this development, the Minimum Wage Rates by State and Municipality chart and the Minimum Wage: Colorado section of the Employment Law Manual have been updated. In addition, a new entry has been added to the Legal Timetable.
