Delaware Now Requires Reasonable Accommodations for Pregnant Employees and Applicants: Employment Law Manual Updated

Delaware employers are now required to provide pregnant employees and those affected by childbirth, lactation and related conditions with reasonable accommodations unless doing so would cause an undue hardship.

Based on this development, the Delaware EEO- Discrimination, EEO- Retaliation, Disabilities (ADA), Terms of Employment, Other Leaves, New Hire Paperwork and Employee Communications sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated.
