The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently released updated Enforcement Guidance addressing pregnancy discrimination and related issues, along with a related Question & Answer document and a Fact Sheet for Small Businesses. The Enforcement Guidance clarifies many aspects of the Pregnancy Discrimination Act and provides additional guidance on how to manage pregnant employees and avoid pregnancy discrimination claims.
