Florida has announced that its minimum wage will increase from $7.93 to $8.05 on January 1, 2015. Florida's minimum wage is adjusted for inflation on January 1 of every year, based on the change in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers for the South Region during the 12 months from September 1 of the year before last and September 1 of the previous year.

Two new entries have been added to the Legal Timetable (for 2015 and 2016). In addition, the chart Minimum Wage Rates by State and Municipality and the Minimum Wage: Florida section of the Employment Law Manual have been updated.
