Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky, and El Cerrito, California, Pass Minimum Wage Ordinances: Legal Timetable Entries Added, Other Documents Updated

Local minimum wage ordinances have been passed in Lexington-Fayette County, Kentucky, and El Cerrito, California.
The Lexington-Fayette County minimum wage takes effect on July 1, 2016, at $8.20. It will rise to $9.15 on July 1, 2017, and to $10.10 on July 1, 2018.
The El Cerrito minimum wage takes effect on July 1, 2016, at $11.60. It will rise in annual increments to $15.00 by January 1, 2019. Starting in 2020, the El Cerrito minimum wage will be adjusted for inflation each year. Under the ordinance, every covered employer must provide new hires with their name, address and telephone number in writing. The ordinance also contains notice-posting requirements.

- El Cerrito, California, Minimum Wage Is Adjusted for Inflation (for January 1, 2020).
