Los Angeles County, St. Louis, Others Pass Minimum Wage Ordinances: New Legal Timetables Added, Other Documents Updated

UPDATE: St. Louis' minimum wage ordinance has been voided, and Birmingham's minimum wage ordinance has been preempted by the state. Certain updates in this article have been unpublished or amended accordingly.
Local minimum wage ordinances have been passed in the following jurisdictions:
- Los Angeles County, California;
- St. Louis;
- Birmingham, Alabama; and
- Johnson County, Iowa.
As a result, the following sections of the Employment Law Manual have been added or updated:
In addition, several new entries reflecting these local minimum wage requirements (including incremental increases) have been added to the Legal Timetable and the Minimum Wage Rates by State and Municipality chart has been updated.
