Louisville, Kentucky, Passes Minimum Wage Ordinance: New Legal Timetables Added, Other Documents Updated

The Metro Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government has passed a new minimum wage ordinance that will take effect in July 2015 at $7.75 per hour and then increase annually to $9.00 per hour in July 2017. Starting in July 2018, the city's minimum wage will be adjusted for inflation annually.

Four new entries have been added to the Legal Timetable (for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018). In addition, the Minimum Wage Rates by State and Municipality chart and the Minimum Wage: Kentucky section of the Employment Law Manual have been updated.
