Minnesota Legalizes Medical Marijuana: Employment Law Manual and Chart Updated

Minnesota has become the 22nd state to legalize medical marijuana use for certain qualifying medical conditions. Under this law, a registered patient may provide verification of his or her enrollment in the qualifying patient registry as part of an explanation for a failed drug test. Smoking marijuana for any reason remains illegal, but patients will be access it in pill, oil or vapor forms.
