Nebraska Adds Pregnancy Accommodations and Discrimination Protections: Handbook Statement Added

Nebraska has amended provisions under the Nebraska Fair Employment Practice Act to address discrimination protections and define reasonable accommodations due to pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions. The new amendments take effect July 13, 2015.

Based on this development, a Pregnancy Accommodation Handbook Statement: Nebraska has been added to the Employee Handbooks tool. The Nebraska Supplement: Table of Contents has also been updated.
