Nebraska to Require Pregnancy Accommodations: Employment Law Manual Updated

Nebraska has amended its Fair Employment Practice Act to expand protections for pregnant employees. The amendments, which will take effect July 13, 2015, require employers to provide reasonable accommodations for pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions. The new pregnancy protections also extend to medical examinations and inquiries.
