New California Laws Effective January 1, 2018

The Golden State is a hotbed for new employment laws every year, and this year is no exception. California remains at the forefront on passing legislation protecting and expanding employee rights. These laws are not only on the state level, but on a local level as well. Employers operating in California need to prepare to comply with the following laws that become effective on January 1, 2018:
