New FAQs Added to Health Care Reform Resource Center

Four new FAQs have been added to the Health Care Reform Resource Center. These FAQs were developed to help employers comply with the complex requirements of the Affordable Care Act.
- How does an employer determine whether the coverage it offers provides minimum value under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)?
- How does the Affordable Care Act (ACA) define full-time employee?
- What is included in an employee's hours of service under the Affordable Care Act?
- How are hours of service calculated under the Affordable Care Act?
Additionally, the question on affordability requirements has been updated to provide supplementary information on the safe harbor methods an employer may use to determine whether the coverage it offers is affordable.
The FAQs have also been added to the following resources:
- Calculate Penalties Under the Affordable Care Act, found in the Tasks Tool;
- Determine Full-time Employee Status for 'Pay or Play' Penalty Purposes, found in the Tasks Tool; and
- Determine if a Penalty Is Owed Under the Affordable Care Act, located in the LiveFlo Tool.
