New Hire Paperwork and Notices by State: New Quick Reference Chart Added

In addition to federal requirements, the majority of states have laws that require an employer to provide paperwork and written notices to new hires, which advise them of their rights and any employer obligations. New hire notices have increased over the last few years, especially with certain trending laws, including:
- Pregnancy accommodation;
- Sick leave; and
- Wage theft.
To help employers comply with these paperwork and notice requirements, XpertHR has added a New Hire Paperwork and Notices chart to the Quick Reference tool. This chart includes links to Employment Law Manual sections that have more detailed information about each state's requirements.
