New Rules Expected for Chain Stores in San Francisco: Employment Manual Updated

Two new ordinances that would establish significant new rules for chain stores operating in San Francisco have been passed by the city's Board of Supervisors and await the mayor's signature.
The following California sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated in light of these new ordinances:
- EEO - Discrimination;
- Employee Communications;
- Employee Discipline;
- Employee Handbooks - Work Rules - Employee Conduct;
- Employment Offer;
- Hours Worked;
- Involuntary Terminations;
- New Hire Paperwork;
- Other Leaves; and
- Terms of Employment.
The Managing Employees in Special Situations section of the Employment Law Manual also has been updated.
