OFCCP Releases Final Rule on Discrimination Based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity: Employment Law Manual Updated

The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) has issued a final rule that will implement President Obama's Executive Order 13672, which will prohibit federal contractors from discriminating against employees and applicants based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The rule will become effective on April 4, 2015, and will apply to covered contracts entered into or modified on or after that date.

EEO-Affirmative Action, EEO-Discrimination, Affirmative Action Planning and Terms of Employment sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated.
