Ohio and Montana Announce Minimum Wage Inflation Adjustments: New Legal Timetables Added, Various Other Documents Updated

Ohio and Montana on October 1 announced annual inflation adjustments to their state minimum wage rates. On January 1, 2015, Ohio's minimum wage will increase from $7.95 to $8.10, and Montana's minimum wage will increase from $7.90 to $8.05. Both states adjust their minimum wage rates each year to keep pace with the rate of inflation.

Four new entries have been added to the Legal Timetable (for Ohio in 2015 and 2016, and for Montana in 2015 and 2016). In addition, the chart Minimum Wage Rates by State and Municipality and two sections of the Employment Law Manual (Minimum Wage: Ohio and Minimum Wage: Montana) have been updated.
