Same-Sex Marriage Decisions Stayed in Arkansas, Mississippi: Employment Law Manual Updated

Arkansas and Mississippi are the two states in which courts most recently have struck down bans on same-sex marriage. However, both decisions have been stayed pending appeal.
In light of these developments, the following sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated:
- Arkansas: FMLA, Health Care Benefits and Taxation of Employee Benefits; and
- Mississippi: FMLA, Health Care Benefits and Taxation of Employee Benefits.
