San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance: Notice Poster Added, ELM Sections Updated

San Francisco has adopted the Fair Chance Ordinance, which bans the box on employee applications and restricts private employers from making certain criminal history inquiries. San Francisco's Office of Labor Standards Enforcement (OLSE) has made available a notice describing the ordinance's provisions for posting and distribution.

Accordingly, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Notice Poster and a Legal Timetable entry have been added.

In addition, the following California sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated to reflect this new development:
