South Dakota and Virginia Enact Laws Regarding Breastfeeding: Employment Law Manual Updated, Legal Timetable Entries Added

South Dakota and Virginia have enacted laws addressing the right of nursing mothers to breastfeed.
Both laws take effect July 1, 2015, and will allow nursing mothers to breastfeed in any location, public or private, where the mother and child are authorized to be present, including places of employment.
Based on this development, the following sections of the Employment Law Manual have been updated:
- EEO-Discrimination: South Dakota;
- EEO-Discrimination: Virginia;
- Employee Handbooks-Work Rules-Employee Conduct: South Dakota; and
- Employee Handbooks-Work Rules-Employee Conduct: Virginia.
In addition, Legal Timetable entries have been added for South Dakota and Virginia.
