Tennessee Employment At-Will Content Enhanced

The Tennessee Employment At-Will and Terms of Employment sections of the Employment Law Manual have been expanded to address the distinction between at-will and contractual employees.
For example, Tennessee employees who have employment contracts in place may not be successful in making claims for retaliatory discharge in violation of public policy, an exception to the employment at-will doctrine in Tennessee.
