Termination of Employment Contracts to Change Next Year: Netherlands Country Guide Updated

Effective July 1, 2015, Netherlands law relating to termination of employment contracts will undergo significant changes. These changes include allowing an employee two weeks to change his or her mind to a mutual termination of an employment contract and granting an employee a right of appeal if an employment contract is dissolved by civil court. As a result of this development, the Termination of Employment section of the Netherlands country guide has been updated.
