Wisconsin Bans Handheld Phones for Commercial Motor Vehicle Drivers: Employment Law Manual, Quick Reference Chart Updated

Beginning July 1, 2016, using a handheld mobile telephone will be prohibited while driving a commercial motor vehicle. Currently, Wisconsin bans all drivers from texting while driving and has general distracted driving laws.
