Wisconsin Requirements Complete

XpertHR is on track to have all 50 states and the District of Columbia by the end of July. We are completing states on a rolling basis until then and are now up to 32 "states" with the completion of Wisconsin this week.

Our Wisconsin Employment Law Coverage

XpertHR covers the complete spectrum of labor and employment law for Wisconsin employers. For example, did you know:

  • Wisconsin privacy laws prohibit disclosure of an employee's drug test results without an employee's consent or court authorization. The penalty for unauthorized disclosure is a fine of no more than $25,000, imprisonment of no more than nine months, or both.
  • The City of Madison has an Equal Opportunity Ordinance that places a three-year limitation on convictions that may be used for making adverse employment decisions.
  • Wisconsin private sector employees generally have the right to strike under the EPA as long as the majority of the bargaining unit has voted to strike and the strike is not in violation of an existing collective bargaining agreement. No specific notice of such a strike is required.

This is but a taste of the depth and breadth provided to our Wisconsin subscribers!
