Weapons in the Workplace Handbook Statement: Texas
In the interest of maintaining a workplace that is safe and free of violence, and in accordance with the policy set forth in the National Handbook, the Company generally prohibits the presence or use of firearms and other weapons on the Company's property, regardless of whether or not the person is licensed to carry the weapon. In addition, in accordance with Section 30.06, Texas Penal Code, a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter company property with a concealed handgun. Also, pursuant to Section 30.07, Texas Penal Code (trespass by license holder with an openly carried handgun), a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Texas Government Code (handgun licensing law), may not enter company property with a handgun that is carried openly.
