- With respect to both private and public employers, Georgia has laws requiring equal pay for equal work, and prohibiting employment discrimination on account of disability, age, religion and criminal record. See Prohibited Discrimination.
- State employees in Georgia are protected from employment discrimination on account of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability or age. See State Employees and the Georgia Fair Employment Practices Act.
