Summary
- South Carolina employers are not required to provide meal or rest breaks. However, employers are required to provide employees with reasonable unpaid break time or permit employees to use paid break time or meal time each day to express breast milk. See Break Periods.
- Employees who are "conscientiously opposed to Sunday work" may refuse to work on Sundays. See Day of Rest.
