- New Jersey's Continuation Coverage Rules, also known as New Jersey's mini-COBRA law, applies to employers that employ between 2 and 50 employees including employers to whom federal COBRA does not apply. See New Jersey Continuation Coverage Law.
- Employees, who qualify under federal COBRA, are not eligible for coverage under New Jersey's mini-COBRA law. See New Jersey Continuation Coverage Law.
- Employees that terminate employment as a result of a disability may be eligible to continue coverage under a group health plan. See Continuation Coverage in the Event of Total Disability.
