- Ohio provides for a minimum wage that is currently higher than the federal minimum wage. See Minimum Wage.
- Some employees are exempt from Ohio's minimum wage requirement. However, such employees still may not be paid less than the federal minimum wage unless they are also specifically exempted from the federal minimum wage law. See Exemptions.
