  • Nevada has two basic overtime law requirements: (1) daily for hours worked over eight in a 24-hour period, and (2) weekly for hours worked over 40 in a workweek. See Overview.

  • Private employers may not substitute compensatory time for overtime pay, but state employees may accrue compensatory time within limits. See Pubic Employees.
