  • Employees who are members of the armed forces of the state of Arkansas are, under certain circumstances, entitled to leave and certain reinstatement rights under state law. See Arkansas Military Leave.
  • In Arkansas, the Military Service Protection Act prohibits discrimination against any person because of his or her military service. See Military Service Protection Act.
  • The Arkansas Uniform Attendance and Leave Act provides public employees who are members of armed forces of the state of Arkansas or another state 15 days of leave time per calendar year to meet their annual training requirements and any other duties they must perform in their official duty capacity.
