An employer may monitor or restrict the use of Google Glass in the workplace by developing and implementing a policy addressing various aspects of use. Because it is such a new area and constantly evolving as technology changes, it may be best to develop a stand-alone policy that can be updated and revised as needed. Once a policy is in place, an employer should make sure that all employees are aware and have acknowledged receipt of the policy and provide adequate training to employees on the use of Google Glass in the workplace.
