Starting in 2020, Cadillac Plans under the ACA are high-cost employer-sponsored health care plans with aggregate values that exceed $10,200 for individual coverage and $27,500 for family coverage. These premium amounts increase by $1,650 for self-only coverage and $3,450 for family coverage for retired individuals age 55 or older who are not eligible for Medicare and for individuals in certain high-risk professions such as police and fire personnel. These amounts will be adjusted annually starting in 2021.
