Poland: Contracts of employment
- An employment contract is defined as an agreement whereby an employee is required to perform work for the benefit of the employer, under the employer's supervision and at a time and place determined by it. (See General)
- The Labour Code provides for open-ended employment contracts and two types of temporary employment contract. (See Types of contracts)
- Employment contracts must be in writing and contain certain information, and employers must provide new employees with specified information. (See Written statement of terms of employment)
