Mr. Freed has litigated a wide range of employment cases, including single-plaintiff actions involving claims for wrongful termination, whistleblower liability, defamation, contract disputes, discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, sex, disability, and national origin, and retaliation, as well as employment class actions involving claims for overtime wages, meal and rest break penalties, and other wage-and-hour claims.
In addition to litigating cases, he regularly counsels clients on compliance with employment laws, including wage-and-hour laws, leave laws and traditional labor laws.
Mr. Freed is a regular contributor to publications such as Employment Relations Today and the Practical Law Company.
