Ms. Tuffuor focuses her practice on a variety of employment matters, including defending class action, multi-plaintiff and single-plaintiff suits involving allegations of discrimination, harassment and retaliation and violations of wage and hour laws, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and various other matters.
She has also counseled employers on employment matters, including the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and related state laws by counseling employers on their employee background check forms and processes.
Ms. Tuffuor received her JD, cum laude, from Ohio State University, Michael E. Moritz College of Law in 2010 and her BA, magna cum laude, from George Washington University in 2006.
She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
