Ms. Angel represents management in employment matters. Her practice focuses on employment litigation and advice.
She represents public and private employers in both state and federal courts, as well as before the EEOC, the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, and the NLRB.
She has broad experience in defending claims of wrongful discharge, breach of contract, Title VII (including sex and race harassment, discrimination, and retaliation), the ADA, ADEA, OFLA/FMLA, §1981, §1983, First Amendment, whistleblowing, workers' compensation discrimination and retaliation, and wage and hour claims.
In addition, Ms. Angel frequently advises employers in handling challenging leave situations, disciplinary issues and terminations, as well as in developing policies and handbooks.
She earned her BA from Cornell University and her JD, cum laude, from Duke University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Oregon and before the US District Court, District of Oregon.
