Mr. Ramsey's practice includes representing employers in wage and hour, employment discrimination, employment contract, and labor proceedings before federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and administrative agencies.
His litigation practice includes collective and class action lawsuits, multi-plaintiff litigation, and individual actions.
Mr. Ramsey also regularly counsels employers for compliance with federal, state and local labor and employment laws related to leaves of absences, discipline, discharge, layoffs, restrictive covenants, privacy rights, background and credit checks, and other personnel decisions.
He is a frequent contributor to employment law publications and speaker on labor and employment law issues.
Mr. Ramsey is a member of, and a former vice president and board member of, the Pittsburgh Human Resources Association, a SHRM affiliate.
He obtained his BA and JD from the University of Virginia.
