Ms. Carrigan focuses her practice in employment law and has substantial experience representing clients in various litigation matters in both state and federal court.
Her practice emphasizes prompt and effective client communications and efficient, assertive, and results-oriented representation of her clients' interests, with an emphasis on providing advice and counsel on compliance with federal and state laws governing the workplace. She frequently writes articles and lectures on employment law topics.
Ms. Carrigan's professional involvement includes: North Carolina Bar Association, labor and employment law section; Wake County Bar Association, board of directors, 2003-04, recipient, President's Award of Excellence, 2004; SHRM; Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association; and Primerus labor and employment law group.
She received her JD from Campbell University School of Law and her BA, cum laude from North Carolina State University.
