Mr. Halliburton's law practice focuses on employment law advocacy, litigation, and formation and general representation of tax-exempt entities.
He effectively counsels employers in transactional matters such as executive employment agreements, employee hires and terminations, and policy creation and implementation.
Mr. Halliburton has successfully represented employers in EEOC and related agency claims involving sexual harassment, gender-based and sexual orientation discrimination, age discrimination and claims under the FLSA and Equal Pay Act.
He has handled claims in Texas, South Carolina, Minnesota, Maine, Connecticut, Louisiana and other jurisdictions where WKPZ's clients may need employment law advocacy.
Mr. Halliburton plays a major role in WKPZ's employment-law and governance representation of WKPZ's large nonprofit organizations client base, including trade associations, public charities, education foundations, religious organizations, private foundations, private schools, United Way agencies and nonprofit radio/TV stations.
He graduated magna cum laude from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2003.
Mr. Halliburton is substantially involved in community organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, and is a frequent writer and presenter on issues of employment law and law affecting tax-exempt organizations.
