Mr. Combs is highly knowledgeable in discrimination, harassment, and wrongful discharge litigation. He has managed and participated in all aspects of federal and state court litigation.
In recent years, his practice has focused heavily on traditional labor law.
Mr. Combs has represented employers in all aspects of NLRB representation and unfair labor practice proceedings, including substantial hearing and trial work.
He has spoken to a variety of audiences on employment law matters, including independent contractor misclassification, antidiscrimination law overview, and the employee discharge process.
After law school Mr. Combs worked as a judicial clerk to Hon. Tena Campbell, US District Court Judge for the District of Utah.
At the University of Colorado Law School, he served on the editorial board of the University of Colorado Law Review.
Mr. Combs received his JD from University of Colorado Law School in 2002 and a BA from the University of Virginia in 1999, with distinction.
