Deborah D. Cannavino is a shareholder in the New Haven, CT office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Ms. Cannavino has been practicing labor and employment law since 1990.
She has appeared before all Connecticut state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies in Connecticut and New York.
Ms. Cannavino represents clients in a wide variety of matters, including the defense of employment and housing discrimination, sexual harassment, breach of contract and common law tort claims.
In addition to defending employment claims, she regularly counsels employers on compliance with state and federal laws, including those regarding family and medical leave and disability discrimination.
Ms. Cannavino also conducts training sessions for supervisors and frequently presents seminars on employment-related topics, including accommodating employees with disabilities.
She received her from the University of California, Hastings, College of the Law in 1990 and her BA from Northwestern University in 1987, with honors.
Ms. Cannavino is admitted to practice in Connecticut and the District of Columbia.
