Since graduating from the University of Texas Law School, Elizabeth Smith has drafted legal opinions and edited an arbitration textbook for a California judge, taught as an adjunct professor of criminal justice and profiled numerous business executives and community leaders for Texas and California newspapers.
Many of Ms. Smith's freelance articles also featured her photography.
After obtaining her second graduate degree, she spent 18 months working in-house for Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, helping the firm prepare a lengthy Employment Discrimination Law treatise for publication by BNA.
Ms. Smith has been referenced as an "honor roll" contributor to that treatise.
Since that time, she has spent six years serving as one of the freelance co-authors of James Publishing's California Courts & Judges and New York Judge Reviews and Court Directory.
In addition to her current employment law writing projects, Ms. Smith provides a significant amount of highly varied weekly content to business, legal and other websites across the country.
