Emily Shoda

Emily Shoda is an associate in the Atlanta office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.

Ms. Shoda advises and represents management in various areas of federal and state employment law and traditional labor law.

Her practice focuses on representing employers in wage-and-hour litigation arising under the FLSA and various state laws, including complex class and collective actions involving misclassification, overtime and other wage-related claims.

Ms. Shoda also has experience defending employers against claims involving employment discrimination, workplace harassment and unfair labor practice charges.

She received her JD from the University of Memphis School of Law in 2011, cum laude and her BA from the University of Tennessee in 2008, summa cum laude.

During law school, Ms. Shoda served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Tu M. Pham, US Magistrate Judge, Western District of Tennessee.

She is admitted to practice in both Georgia and Tennessee.
