James G. Zissler is the office managing shareholder for the Seattle office of Littler Mendelson, PC, the largest US-based law firm exclusively devoted to representing management in every aspect of labor and employment law.
Mr. Zissler is experienced in all aspects of employment law and provides consultation and advice on matters, such as wrongful termination, the ADA, FMLA and leave issues, sexual harassment, unfair competition, wage-and-hour matters, discrimination claims.
A skilled litigator, he has tried two class actions to a jury, obtaining successful verdicts in both, and has handled numerous appellate matters in federal courts.
An experienced trainer, Mr. Zissler has educated both private and public employers about diversity, harassment, discrimination, workplace violence prevention, disability accommodation and leaves of absence, and ethics.
He is admitted to practice in Washington state, the District of Columbia and New York.
Mr. Zissler received his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1991, cum laude, and his BS from St. Francis College in 1983, summa cum laude.
