For the past twenty-five years Mr. Holt has focused his practice on employment law counseling and litigation, regularly advising employers on a wide variety of employment law issues most often involving FMLA, policies and practices, workplace investigations, discipline and termination.
He is an experienced litigator having successfully represented clients in both federal and state courts on such claims as race, sex and age discrimination, FMLA, ADA, retaliatory discharge, FLSA collective actions, noncompete agreements and equal protection under the US Constitution.
Mr. Holt is also a frequent speaker and writer on employment law topics.
He is admitted to practice law in Tennessee (1986) and California (1988).
Mr. Holt is also admitted in the Court of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Circuits.
He received his JD from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis State University in 1986.
